Glendale Hip Signal
Where can Glendale residents have a hip looked at?
Where is nearby hip care from Glendale? The starting point—Arrowhead, Westgate or downtown—decides which drive is shorter.
The two listed offices are outside Glendale, in Peoria and Phoenix. Compare them by the roads you use and how long the hip can bear sitting.
Getting into and out of a car can hurt more than the mileage suggests. Choose the office with the easier drive, parking and walk from the car.
Which office is closer from north Glendale?
From Arrowhead, Loop 101 leads toward Thunderbird Road and the Peoria office. The address is 13128 N. 94th Dr., Suite 205, Peoria, AZ 85381.
It is about six miles from Arrowhead by Loop 101. From historic downtown, the route using 59th Avenue and Thunderbird Road is roughly nine miles.
Ask about parking before leaving home. A shorter walk from the car may matter when each step hurts.
Which route works from Westgate?
From Westgate and south-central Glendale, 91st Avenue runs south to Thomas Road. The Banner Estrella office is at 9305 W. Thomas Rd., Suite 460, Phoenix, AZ 85037.
That drive runs about four miles from Glendale Avenue to Thomas Road. It doesn't require a freeway, which may help when getting out of the car hurts.
The shorter road isn't always the easier visit. Sitting time and the walk from parking can matter as much as miles.
What should you note before the drive?
Write down whether soreness starts while sitting, walking or getting out of the car. Also note whether it sits in the groin, outer hip or lower back.
Call ahead to confirm the office and visit time. If fever or a fall leaves you unable to stand, get urgent care instead.
Keep shoes and a cane where they're easy to reach after the drive. Tell the office if getting out of the car now takes more help.

The 2019 ACR/Arthritis Foundation guideline makes STRONG recommendations for exercise, weight loss in people with overweight or obesity, self-efficacy and self-management programmes, tai chi, cane use and oral NSAIDs across hand, hip and knee OA - but its strong recommendations for topical NSAIDs and for intra-articular glucocorticoid injection are specific to the KNEE, not the hip.

The 2026 Cochrane update of exercise for hip osteoarthritis (18 trials, 1368 participants) found that against attention control or placebo, exercise may have little to no effect on pain (MD -6.31 points on 0-100, 95% CI -12.98 to 0.35, low certainty) and may improve physical function only slightly; against no treatment or usual care it probably reduces pain slightly (MD -7.19, 95% CI -10.70 to -3.68, moderate certainty) but the review states these improvements are unlikely to be clinically meaningful. This is a weaker result than the equivalent knee evidence and it must not be overstated.

What if the soreness doesn't settle?
QC Kinetix offers a visit with medical providers, the clinic team that asks about your health and checks how the hip moves. They explain which sore area each choice is meant for and who would give the care.
Regenerative treatment includes PRP, care that uses a spun portion of your own blood in the sore area. PRP means platelet-rich plasma; spinning the blood gathers its small clot-forming pieces.
The first visit is free. Call (602) 837-PAIN and ask whether Peoria or Banner Estrella is the easier office from your part of Glendale.
